Well, it's 3.50 if you come more than a couple of times. Also, we're in the union, so no weed or drinking. Thursdays, upstairs in the arc.

I went to an LGBT cocktail party in the ARC, so drinking there is not unheard of... but that may have been a special case.

Yeah, maybe. But i don't want to risk it this early in the society's life. and on an unrelated note, we get no funding this semester because we haven't been together long enough

Well, feel free to organise something at your house. If you want an anime society where you can drink though, come to YATA. We meet in a pub, so there are no issues with beer at all. It is a non-smoking room though, and there is a £1 per session fee.

Er....this is a ridiculously old thread, so I'm going to lock it (if poss!)

What, why? I mean, dredging it up now was a litle random, but that's no reason for a locking. In fact, I feel that locking threads just because of their age sets a bad example.
Besides, locking makes forums look dirty.
Unlocked, but don't take this as an excuse for spam.

TBH if you aren't going to attend a meeting at a society because it doesn't permit an illegal activity, then you probably won't be attending many societies' meetings at all.

I locked it because I felt the topic was over and done with, and that there didn't need to be any more replies. Perhaps you have a point, but I think we should avoid stepping on each others toes with our modding, ok?
