I know you wanted them before the festival, but I thought I'd just let you know that once we get our funding we're planning on buying quite a few as general society stuff to be lent around.

I have some at home that are being sent up soon. I also have 'even a monkey can draw manga', which may not improve how you draw, but it's funny and teaches you how to cheat.

I advise you not to buy any guides by a non-japanese author, such as katy coope or chris hart's guides; they're utter crap. www.anime-on-line.com (a reliable - I've used it with quick delivery and no problems - uk-based online store) has some good ones.

Id sugest you search for "The art of otaku" which is cheapish and is ment to be one of the best available. I have the "how to draw manga" series on CD and theyre good as a reference but only if you already have a high level of drawing skill.
