Just wondering about.... well, about the anime we'll show next year. How are we going to do it? It's just -- we've started loads of series this year, most of which aren't finished/are barely half done. We can't exactly carry on straight from that next year, as it'll be unfair on new people who join and so won't have a clue what's going on. But, similarly, it'd kinda suck to start from the beginning of them again, so. Will we just show completely new stuff? Or...carry on some, and restart others? Just curious, as I'm not sure what's planned. :3

Well. I think you should show new things starting in september. Then each year can be defined. (The year we watched Bleach). Although Bleach seems to be popular enough to keep showing it. I dunno, I'm not in charge any more.

I think that that is something to think about over the summer. As we are going to do this whole schedule thing it will probably be good to plan ahead at least one or two series we are going to watch. We could probably make a thread asking for suggestions and make a poll or something. We'll see!

starting new series sounds like a good idea. bleach would also be good to continue as that is definitely ace. more completely insane things like panda z tho, that was funny!

Personally, I'd quite like to see something that doesn't involve teenagers in comprimising situations. Or just teenagers in general.
Oh, and cute should be banned as well. Except in the case of Edward Wong Hau Pepelu Tivrusky IV.

Not that it's any of my business, but I reckon you should show only the first DVD of each series so (like you said) you wouldn't ostracize newcomers, it gives more variety, and also it would encourage people to invest in the series themselves if they like it. The more money companies get, the more series they can buy the licenses to, the more addicted we become. Smiles all round.

Well, I assume next year's committee will take the same tact that we did. - Start afresh.
If people like the series we've been watching this year, then they can get a hold of them from other people in the society, to finish them off.
Much fairer to start from a blank slate each year. You can always do marathon showings etc, if there's demand to see a whole showing.

It may be a good idea not to keep too many old series running and open up some new ones
unless a sort of newcomers and veterans thing is done where anime soc starts like 30mins later for newcomers so an old series can keep running like azumanga or elfin leid or somethig
