Thanks to everyone who came and voted/stood - here are the results: (I'm including forums names so you can now stalk them!)

hehe- yay!! this should so go on the joy thread, but its going here ^ ^ wooo- im so stoked im social sec!! following it tony's footsteps!! congratulations to everyone who got to position and qwell done to everyone who ran for one anyway!! hopefully i shall be annoying everyone soon in my official capacity  I'd like to take this opportunity to thank Lizzie and all of the commmitee for doing an absolutely awsome job last year, you guys are the bomb- and i only hope we can keep the legend that is animesoc alive! i know you didn't really get much thanks for the maount of work you've put in over the last year, but really thankyou from the bottom of my heart!! you guys made animesoc happen, and it really has had a profound affect on me this year- im not sure what i'd be doing without it really!! probaly hanging round with medics...ick  so thankyeeee!!!! see everyone sooon!! |

Thank you very much Lizzy, as Ash said you and the all of the committee have done a great job at making the anime society fun and productive. I know for one that it brightened up my year considerably, and I'm willing to bet that it has for quite a few other people.
Now hopefully I will be a shining example to the future Acquisition Officers that will surely come after me, but they shall all know that I was the Prime at one time... Hopefully I can make as good a positive impact as possible. My Creative Writing degree does give me an insanely big chunk of free time (regular 4 day weekends) so I should be able to help out a lot for the committee.
Now, all of you out there should start thinking about what your favorite/most wanted anime and manga are soon, because soon I shall go out into the world as the Acquisition Officer and do what the job calls for... Acquisitioning...with lethal force I mean working with the Treasurer to get the stuff that you guys vote for...

Thank you so much everyone that voted for me.. I hope that I can do justice to the amazing job done by the committee this year. As Ash and Richard said, thank you so much to the committee from this year, you were uber-wonderful and will be hard to follow in the footsteps of but I still want to attempt to make the society even better this year with more members, hopefully as Lizzie said in the AGM - spreading out to the met and Yorkshire Anime, achieving more funding for anime, manga and of course events along with much more which you will all see over the coming year...
Eeee I'm so happy and excited, thank you again! ;D

Enhorabuena a todos/as! Congratulations to everyone! I have already congratulated many of you in person, but to the ones I haven't, virtual congratulations! I would also like to thank the people, who did give vote for me, although I didn't get in.  I would like to help out in this committee as I did with the last one, if that's OK? Once again, thanks to everyone for making this society so enjoyable and fun! One last, thing Please, please Keep it social (I know that Ash will be excellent at doing so). So, good luck everybody! |
